How to apply to the FdA Web Design Course

Applications are accepted from September onwards through UCAS. Before you can apply you must first register. This is free and will take approximately fifteen minutes.

Access the UCAS website and click the ‘Apply’ button, followed by the ‘Register/Log in to use Apply 2012' link. Lastly, click the 'Register' option in the subsequent pop-up window.

If you are applying through a school, college, careers centre or any other organisation, you will be asked to use the buzzword provided by them, so please have this information to hand. If you are not applying through a school, college, careers centre or any other organisation, you can apply as an individual.

Once you have completed the registration, a username will be automatically generated. You will be asked to create a password of your choosing.

There are several information sections to complete including contact details, educational background, and the space for a personal statement and a reference.

Our course codes are:

  • Institution Code Name: WAKEC
  • Institution Code: W08
  • Course Code: W280
  • Short Form of Course: FdA/WebD

UCAS will then send us a copy of your form. This can take between a few days and a few weeks depending on how busy they are. Upon receipt, we'll invite you for an informal interview where we can talk about your application.

If you don't live locally, you can be contacted by eMail if you prefer.
